Energy label obliged at sale of your house.

From 1st of January 2008 when selling your house or renting it in The Netherlands you need to have a certified energy label! This obligation arises from the European directive EPBD (Energy Performance Building Directive) transposed by the Dutch government through performance certificates (energy label).

What shows this energy label?

The energy label reflects the energy performance of a house in standard energy levels from A up to G. You can compare this labels to the ones have seen on
washing machines and other electronics. Very low-energy consuming houses are labled A are green, very high-energy consuming houses are labled G and are red. The energy label tells the degree in which a house is insulated,type of heating and ventilation.

As certified advisers we provide energy label reports after including on site property assessment. Moreover such a report suggest improvements of energy performance for your house.
